Farm Watchers was started when two recent college graduates discovered a need to give farmers the opportunity to take a much-needed break from the farm! No matter the reason, we hope to provide our clients with the "Freedom to Travel With Peace of Mind" knowing that the Farm is taken care of.
Kaitlin Heil
Hello, my name is Kaitlin!
I grew up an avid animal lover, so I studied Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University. During my time at Penn State, I worked with dairy cattle at the Penn State Dairy Barns where I learned to properly feed and handle large animals, perform routine maintenance, and respect the hard work of farming. Additionally, I worked at an animal hospital in Ebensburg as a veterinary technician where I worked with many small animals from dogs to rabbits. I currently work as a Lab Analyst in the microbiology department at the Environmental Services Laboratory in Indiana, PA.
My partner, Justin, and I noticed a need for farm, home, and pet sitters in the area and started this business as a result!
I am looking forward to meeting you and taking care of the farm while you travel!

Hi! My name is Justin!
I grew up working on various farms throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. My upbringing in agriculture was my motivation to join the National FFA Organization in high school where I found my passion for farming and the agricultural community.
After high school, I attended the Pennsylvania State University where I studied Agricultural and Extension Education. I utilize these skills in my current position with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank as a Partnership Coordinator.
Kaitlin and I currently reside in Indiana, PA, and are excited to watch your farm!
